Richie Dallas

Richie is an energetic, fun, enthusiastic guy who began his career in the entertainment industry as a lead vocalist and dancer in production shows at Butlins Family Resorts. Gaining skills along the way such as hosting and presenting  plus children’s story telling, puppeteering and skin work. After 3 years with Butlins he moved on to a successful career on board cruise liners for various companies within the production cast but this time focusing more on developing his presenting skills, going on to present all on board events and game shows.
Richie also has acting experience and toured the UK with a TIE production for primary and secondary schools raising awareness of global warming and the environment. He was recently seen presenting the London Hula Hoops’ Hoopathon’ Guinness world record attempt for Sport Relief and has also filmed an in-house welcome (corporate) video for Royal Caribbean International.

Presenter Sport Relief Hula Hoop Hoopathon
As well as presenting the ‘live’ event, I had the job of enthusing the “hoopers” in readiness for their attempt at the world record plus I worked  alongside the client The Guiness Book of Records.  The whole event was done without a script.

Host & Presenter  Enchantment of the Seas RCI   
I was presenter and host for this event which covered a variety of family entertainment programmes.  I worked with all ages from children and hosting and arranging their competitions through to adult game shows such as Battle of the Sexes and The Quest.

2008Actor - T.I.E Cast Member     
This was Quantum Theatre for Science where I played a variety of characters in an educational school tour called What if it Rains.  This focused on global warming.
2003 - 2007Production Singer and Dancer Island Escape Cruises/ P&O Cruises
I was a production singer/dancer in all the main shows.  We had two performances a night and 11 different shows (a full 1 hr) over a two week itinerary.  I also  had a cabaret set as part of a duo (myself and Sean from ‘Same Difference’) for the late night lounge entertainment.
2002Singer/ Dancer  -   Mallorca and Majorca Tour  
Lead vocalist in a touring Latino show.  Performances in hotels for Thomson Gold
1998 - 2001Singer/ Host -  Production Shows     
I was lead male vocalist for major Butlins shows.  I also hosted  the family game shows plus the link intros for the guest acts, DJ for late night venue disco and skin work for Enid Blyton’s Toytown.  I also managed some puppeteering!
