The hit TV Show ‘GLADIATORS’ was shown on prime time National TV for 8 consecutive years, between 1992 –1999 and is still being aired today via Satelite TV.
Millions of people remember those exciting Saturday nights, sitting infront of the TV with a bag of Popcorn, cheering for their favourite Contender and Gladiator.

Other than ‘Gladiators’, My Husband and I have tried a variety of Businesses, one of which was Property Developing. This can be quite an expensive game if you don’t know what you’re doing and one could end up losing their life long savings in one clean sweep. Whilst some are raking in the profits from renovating, updating and turning property around – some are losing tens of thousands of pounds. Thankfully my Husband and I have been very successful buying and selling houses over the past 15 years and painstakingly completed a lot of the work ourselves. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about some of our Businesses. We’ve made and lost thousands of pounds on various Businesses and Investments.

In 1995 Frank and I ‘took the bull by it’s horns’ and moved the Family to Spain. We had an amazing time out there with the beautiful blue skies and relaxed beach life, and we have some fantastic memories to look back on, but it wasn’t all hunky dory living in another Country - we had a number of terrible experiences which occassionally left me wondering what the hell we were doing out there. Everybody asks me now “Why did you come back to England?” and “Would you ever go back?” .

Throughout the 8 years of being a Presenter for BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Services) I was fortunate enough to be asked to visit and boost the morale of our British Soldiers at their Base Camp in Bosnia. It’s pretty hard to comprehend exactly what Our Lads have to endure in the daily schedule of a British Soldier but when I flew out to Bosnia and met them all, and heard their axtraordinary stories, I found it a real eye-opener and it completely blew me away.   The trip was incredibly interesting and it was a totally awesome experience. I have so much respect for our British Forces and I’ll never forget those few days I spent with the Lads in Bosnia.

After giving birth to 2 beautiful Children, my Life has changed considerably. They give me so much pleasure, there’s nothing more satisfying than being a Mother . I admit there’s ‘high’s and low’s’ and it can be incredibly hard work at times but you just can’t buy the happiness or the joys in life that Children give you. For me, hearing the hillarious little sayings they innocently come out with, watching those strange/harmless phases they tend to go through and seeing all the funny habits they obliviously take on, are extremely precious.

Frank and I have always tried to live our lives slightly different from the norm and just recently we bought a Farm. Life on the Farm is very different to anything else that we’ve tried and as you can imagine some things have taken a little bit of time getting used to but it’s been a great experience having to help deliver a calf, especially for the Children. Slowly but surely we’ve been expanding our Livestock (which has been exciting) but I’m not quite sure I’m getting to grips with the ‘ole’ Farmer thing yet, I desperately want to keep all the animals as pets and I’m still squelching around the cow packs wearing my designer wellies!!. (I can’t help it – I look at the carki green wellies, then I look at the pretty pink ones – and the girly ones win every time! – what’s wrong with cheerful Wellies???).
